Muse

Set up ClawLink in Muse with one prompt. Muse installs it on its own cloud computer and sends you a link to approve.

Muse runs on its own cloud computer, so ClawLink is installed there, not on your machine. Paste the prompt below into Muse. Muse runs the setup and sends you a link to approve.

Paste the prompt

Copy the whole prompt below and send it to Muse.

Approve

Muse sends you a sign-in link and a code. Open the link, approve, then tell Muse "approved".

Connect an app

Ask Muse to connect an app, for example Gmail. Muse sends you a link. Open it and sign in to the app.

Muse prompt
Please set up ClawLink on your own Muse VM.

I already chose ClawLink for my apps: 1,100+ apps (Gmail, Notion, Slack, GitHub and more) through hosted OAuth. You are the agent that uses them, so the CLI goes on your VM, not my computer. I only approve links in my browser.

1. Start login in the background. Your shell stops a command after about 100 seconds, and login waits up to 15 minutes for my approval:

   nohup npx -y @useclawlink/cli login > ~/clawlink-login.log 2>&1 &

2. After about 10 seconds, run `cat ~/clawlink-login.log`. Send me the sign-in link and code, then wait until I say "approved".

3. Check it: `npx -y @useclawlink/cli whoami` must name my account. If it fails, show me the log. Do not act as if the tools are there.

4. Connect an app: `npx -y @useclawlink/cli connect gmail` (or the app I ask for). Send me the link and wait again.

5. Use it:
   - `npx -y @useclawlink/cli apps <word>` finds an app
   - `npx -y @useclawlink/cli actions <app>` lists what it can do
   - `npx -y @useclawlink/cli run <app> <action> --input '{...}'` runs one

If your network gate asks about claw-link.dev or registry.npmjs.org, ask me to allow it. The login is saved in ~/.clawlink/ on your VM, so it stays between chats. Never type my passwords and never approve a link for me.

The same prompt is in Dashboard > Install and at claw-link.dev/muse/prompt, with a copy button.

Troubleshooting

  • Muse says to run it on your own computer: send the prompt again. It explains why ClawLink belongs on Muse's computer.
  • Muse asks to allow claw-link.dev or registry.npmjs.org: allow both. Setup downloads the ClawLink CLI and signs in through them.
  • The code expired: ask Muse to start the login again and send you the new link.
