Cursor

Add ClawLink to the Cursor app with one click, or to the Cursor CLI. You sign in once in the browser, with no API key.

ClawLink connects to Cursor as a remote MCP server. You sign in with your ClawLink account in your browser. There is no key to copy or paste.

Cursor app

Add to Cursor ↗

Open the install dialog

Click Add to Cursor above. Cursor opens Install MCP server? with ClawLink filled in.

Install

Click Install. Leave Client ID and Client Secret empty.

Sign in

Cursor asks you to sign in. Sign in with ClawLink and approve access.

If the button does nothing, add ClawLink by hand. Paste this into ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then sign in under Settings > MCP:

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "clawlink": {
      "url": "https://claw-link.dev/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cursor CLI

The Cursor CLI (agent) reads the same mcp.json. Add the entry above, then run:

agent mcp enable clawlink
agent mcp login clawlink

enable approves the server. Without it, login stops with "has not been approved". Run agent mcp list to check that clawlink shows ready.

Troubleshooting

  • The button does nothing: some Cursor versions do not open install links. Use the mcp.json entry above.
  • You already have a clawlink entry that runs npx: that is the older local setup, and it still works. Keep one clawlink entry, not two.
  • The server shows 401: sign in again from Settings > MCP. Never paste an API key into the chat.
