# Connect OpenClaw to Facebook

Use this if you want OpenClaw to help with Facebook posting, page workflows, and Meta-connected business tasks.

## Simple setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Install the plugin">
    Run the command above in OpenClaw.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pair ClawLink">
    Ask OpenClaw to set up ClawLink or pair ClawLink.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve in your browser">
    Open the link OpenClaw gives you and approve the device.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect Facebook">
    Go to the ClawLink dashboard and connect **Facebook**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start using it">
    Go back to OpenClaw and ask it to use Facebook.
  </Step>

* Useful for Page posting, social workflow automation, and Meta-connected app flows.
* Some Facebook capabilities depend on the exact Meta app permissions and account type you connect.
* If your goal is Instagram automation, you may also need the related Meta/Facebook Page wiring in place.

## If it does not work

* Start a new OpenClaw chat after installing the plugin
* Make sure you approved the browser pairing flow
* Make sure Facebook is connected in the ClawLink dashboard
* Check that the connected Meta account has the right Page/business permissions
